Savanna Pacifico, Psy.D., earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University and has extensive experience working with diverse populations. Before pursuing her graduate studies, she worked as a registered behavioral technician at the California Autism Center, specializing in applied behavior analysis for children with autism. Dr. Pacifico has also worked with underserved youth at the Juvenile Detention Facility, providing both group and individual therapy to support and rehabilitate at-risk individuals. Dr. Pacifico brings cultural humility to her practice, drawing on her Hispanic background to create a compassionate, inclusive environment. She has worked in diverse settings, including a doctoral internship in Kauai Hawai’i as a school psychologist, where she supported rural families and provided therapy to those affected by the 2023 Maui wildfires as part of a disaster relief team.

 

Her clinical practice spans a wide range of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic assessments. Dr. Pacifico has had extensive training in psychological assessments, including evaluations for developmental disabilities such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. Dr. Pacifico uses an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs, drawing on evidence-based theories like Gottman and family systems for couples and families. For children, she employs child-centered techniques, including play therapy, and offers Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to strengthen attachment and promote emotional growth.

This understanding guides her therapeutic approach, prioritizing empathy, connection, and holistic support for the entire family.
